These dinners are a fundraising campaign raising funds and awareness to help My Voice Music move into a program space.

Why is a Program Space Important Anyway?
A new space will allow us to work with many more youth in more meaningful ways!
In April of 2010, My Voice Music launched a music mentorship program that is open to the community regardless of financial means. This program offers year round access to rock camps and performance opportunities at a "pay what you can afford" rate to youth experiencing challenges throughout the greater Portland area. These programs are a place for youth to build positive relationships, to create, to share their voice and to be heard.
There are many youth that can not attend this program due to the limitations of our space. In our new space, we will not only work with more youth, we will be able to launch an individual lesson and jam night where youth can hone their skills as they rock out and get one on one attention from seasoned musicians!
What Kind of Space Does My Voice Music Need?
We need a space where we can make a lot of noise, and that has multiple rooms we can access at the same time on a consistant basis.
Where Will the Space Be?
Inner Portland or East Portland. Ideally, we will find a program space in East Portland between 162nd and I205 near public transportation.
When Do We Need it?
Selected afternoons, evenings and weekends during the school year and in the daytime during the summer.
